We have been studying the book 'The Owl Who Was Afraid Of The Dark' and we discussed how we could help animals, such as owls, as the year gets colder. The children decided to make nests for birds to keep them warm. For the first time, many of the children got to find out what is inside a conker - Chestnuts!
