Do you know a story about sparkly beans, a golden egg and a fearsome giant? This week Year 2 have been learning to retell the story of Jack and the Beanstalk using role play, hot seating and story mapping. The children have done some excellent Victor Vocabulary learning - finding and learning the mening of new words in the story. We have created a list of words that mean 'sorrowful'.  We thought of 'upset', 'unhappy', 'tearful' and even 'melancholy'!
