To introduce out Stone Age history topic, the children were asked to imagine that they were living in the Stone Age. They had to decide on which animal to draw on their ‘cave wall’.  Their first task was to sketch their animal in their sketch books and when they were happy with their design, they were given 'cave paper' and chalks.  They were allowed to use the floor, lean up against the walls or lie under their desks as the artists would have done thousands of years ago.  We now have a wonderful display of cave art in the classroom!
